2. Do I need an account to book?
With Alta Booking, you do not need an account to book a service.
However, having an account will give you full access to our services such as modifying a booking, rating and giving feedback about a service and much more.
3. How can I pay on Alta Booking?
We accept all major debit & credit cards (master card, maestro, VISA, Diners Club International, American Express).
4. How to I create an account?
Click on the Sign Up link at the top right of the website.
Fill in the mandatory details such as – First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Mobile Number, Password and Confirm Password.
Once you fill in the Mobile Number, you will receive a password by text message to confirm your account and number.
You will also receive a verification link in your email address. Please click the verification link to verify your email.
Once this is done, you will be logged in and be able to view your dashboard.
Alternatively, customers can also Sign Up using their social media account – Facebook, GooglePlus or Linkedin.
5. How can I make changes to my profile?
Click on the ‘Sign In’ option at the top right of the website in order to log into your profile.
Modify your profile information in the ‘My Dashboard’ section.
Click on ‘Profile’ present in the left section of the My Dashboard page.
There is a drop down on the top-right corner from where you can directly move to ‘My Account’.
Keep your email address, date of booking and details of your purchase with you for reference.
Let our customer support know your problem in details. So write to us and we shall get back to you as soon as possible.
12. I need to cancel my booking
Customers can cancel any booking from the booking details page. On the booking details page there is a link Cancel Booking where customers can request for the cancellation process.
Once the request is accepted the cancellation process will start with the refund process.
The cancellation charge will be levied if a customer cancels any booking. You will be refunded according to the terms and conditions of the service provider.
The cancellation charge rules are mentioned on the booking details page.
Customers won’t be able to cancel a booking if the service is already started.
13. I need to contact the service provider
Customers can only contact the service provider after booking a service from that respective service provider.
There is a Send Message button on the booking details page where customers can communicate with providers via one-to-one messaging.
There is a link Chat on the customer account where customers can view the previous booking communication history. They can continue the communication from this section as well.
14. My service provider cancelled my booking
We are sorry that your booking has been cancelled.
You will be refunded according to the terms and conditions of the service provider.
If you don’t receive your refund or want to discuss the cancellation, please contact our customer support team.
15. I want to give feedback about my booking, how?
To give feedback, log on to your account and there is a button Submit your reviews where customers can submit their feedback or rating for that Service Provider. This button will only be visible in the Completed Bookings for each individual service.
If you don’t have an account, please register so that you can give feedback.
Guest users (not logged in users) cannot give feedback for a booking.
